With digitalization work load will increased,Because in last 2 decades people dont need more analyze on anything.But they did good marketing.Word mouth was previously high strategy on the markert.Alsoit will get more affected.There are so many disadvantages on the digitaliation bcz it will move on fast.So be aware on digitaliation.

  2. The sick of Digitization is effecting many fields of job, it creates a fear among the workers and the workers are clueless about the future. For Example if we take the job of accountants, it is being more towards a data entry work where the software now a days prepare the entire accounts of a company. So the future of Accountants job is questionable. Accountants should acquire more skills to be retained in a company such as analytical, reporting, management, etc

    1. This feels like Y2K and worlds going to end or like industrial revolution where the jobs are going to cut down.
      However, the digitalization has taken place in corporate world like a wildfire....
      Yes of cause there will be job redundancies... whatsoever, world won't end but innovation will keep everything moving forward...
      HRM will have the responsibility of applying best practices to keep employees happy in this saga in a strategic manner....

  3. As you have stated we are about to witness how the digitalization, new trends will change all traditional processes and procedures in the near future.
    With the technological advancements there will be automations that will make certain job roles redundant where HRM will be challenged heavily by the existing workforce. Furthermore, workforce will get converted in to a digitalized work force that work on digital platforms (not necessarily at the office environment) and majority will work on flexible workhours that leads to drastic changes on organizational structures as well as hierarchies. On a positive note job insecurity will get offset by job flexibility.
    Even as of now most of the organizations are moving towards casual work attire and employees tend to find it more relaxing.
    Most importantly organizations need to be upfront in accommodating these changes as failure will lead you out of business arena. Thus it is important that HR being upfront on these trends as all HR functions that covers recruiting, retaining, training needs to be changed bearing and forecasting these changes.

  4. Whether we like it or not, digitization is going to dominate the corporate world which will bring in so many benefits to the organizations & this cannot be avoided.
    Now the biggest challenge in front of us is that what is the strategy to digitalize the existing work force. They have to be given proper hands on training & gradually convert them to the digitalization era.

    1. Thank you Umesh, Answering to your comment, i would like add followings. It's a created fear among the corporate world regarding the digitalization as per my purview. Y2K was one the best examples for the current day situation on digitalization, if you may remember the consequences related to Y2K.
      It's the right measure which HR needs to take in order to face the rapid development on Digitalization. Identify key elements where the automation required and where not. Many organizations create liquidity on Digitalization but half of the digitalization processes are been run with manual intervention.
      Thus, it's best if HRM would keep the employees ready to face the fear of digitalization with awareness and correct talent enhancement by utilizing the digitalization to act as tool to improve and achieve organization goals.
